Terms of Service

1.Who we are

Twitter Screenshot is operated by SYRNIK LTD, a company registered in England & Wales under number 17257080, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. “We”, “us” and “our” mean that company.

These Terms cover everything we operate: the website at twitter-screenshot.com, the web editor, and the Twitter Screenshot Chrome extension (together, the Service). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

We are not affiliated with X Corp. “X”, “Twitter” and related marks belong to their owners; we refer to them only to describe what the Service does. The Service is not endorsed or sponsored by X Corp.

2.What the Service does

The Service turns a post you choose on X into an image you can style and download — backgrounds, framing, themes, export size.

The work happens in your browser. The post, its images and the file you export are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to our servers. We never hold a copy of what you make. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

3.Free and Pro

Free is free, permanently. No account, no card, no watermark on anything you export, no cap on how many images you make.

Twitter Screenshot Pro is a single payment of $19. It is not a subscription — there is no renewal, no recurring charge and nothing to cancel. It unlocks:

• Liquid glass tweets
• More stunning backgrounds
• Background effects
• Ultra-quality export

Pro is delivered as a licence key and activates the browser you bought in automatically. Polar emails your receipt immediately after payment; the key itself is on the order page that receipt links to. Keep it: it is how you unlock Pro on another computer, or on the same one after clearing your browser data.

How many browsers. Your licence is for you, and there is no limit on how many of your own browsers or machines you use it on, or how often you move between them. Nothing has to be deactivated by hand. We ask only that you don’t share your key publicly or with people who haven’t bought it; a key that is being used that way may be cancelled and reissued to you.

What “lifetime” means. Your licence does not expire and is never billed again. It lasts as long as we operate the Service — it is not a promise to operate it forever. Section 8 says what happens if we stop.

4.Buying Pro

Polar Software, Inc. (Polar) is our merchant of record. When you buy Pro, your contract of sale is with Polar, who resells the licence to you. Polar takes the payment, calculates and remits any VAT or sales tax, and issues your invoice and receipt. Their terms and privacy policy apply to that transaction alongside these Terms.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude tax, which Polar adds at checkout where your country requires it. We never see or store your card details.

5.Refunds

14 days, no questions asked. If Pro isn’t what you wanted, email support@twitter-screenshot.com within 14 days of your purchase or request it from the Polar customer portal. You don’t need to give a reason.

Polar processes the refund to your original payment method, usually within a few business days. Your licence is then revoked: the editor rechecks it in the background rather than on every load, so Pro features switch off within about 7 days.

Your statutory rights are unaffected. Consumers in the UK and EU normally have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital content, which is lost once delivery starts with your consent — as it does here, since Pro unlocks immediately. Our voluntary policy above gives you the same 14 days regardless, so you never need to rely on that distinction.

6.Your licence, and what you make with it

We grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service, and — if you buy Pro — its paid features.

The images you create are yours. Use them anywhere, including commercially. No attribution required, no licence fee, no restriction from us on where they go. (What’s inside the image is a separate question — see section 7.)

You may not:

• share, resell, publish or sublicense your licence key;
• redistribute the Service’s own assets — the wallpapers, gradient packs, shaders and styles — as standalone files or as part of another product;
• work around the paywall, or help others do so;
• run the Service through automated means to generate images in bulk.

The Service, its code and its artwork remain ours. Buying Pro buys access, not ownership of any part of it.

7.Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you capture and where you publish it. Posts, photos and videos on X belong to the people who made them. Make sure you have the right to reproduce what you screenshot, and follow X’s terms and any law that applies to you.

The editor lets you type your own text into a post card, which is useful for mockups, drafts and design work. Passing off a fabricated post as a real one is not allowed, and neither is using the Service to impersonate someone, harass anyone, or produce anything unlawful.

If you use the Service in a way that breaks this section, that’s on you — and it’s grounds for us to withdraw access under section 10.

8.Availability and changes

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee uptime, and X can change its own markup at any time in ways that temporarily break capture. We fix those as fast as we can.

Free features may change as the product develops. Features you unlocked by buying Pro stay unlocked; if one ever has to be retired for reasons outside our control, we’ll tell you.

If we ever shut the Service down, we will give reasonable notice and refund any Pro purchase made in the 60 days before that notice.

We may update these Terms. Material changes are published on this page with a new “last updated” date, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept them.

9.Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, our total liability to you is capped at what you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim — which for a free user is nothing, and for a Pro user is $19.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, or for how you use the images you create with the Service.

10.Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time — uninstall the extension and clear your browser data. Nothing to cancel, because there’s no subscription.

We may suspend or withdraw access if you breach these Terms — in practice that means sharing or reselling a licence key, circumventing the paywall, abusing the Service, or raising a fraudulent chargeback. Termination for breach doesn’t create a refund right beyond the 14-day window in section 5.

11.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
